Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, some features mentioned below may be limited, for example; visiting our care home, as well as some entertainment and events. For current details, please speak to our Home Manager using the details provided at the bottom of this page. "All staff from the home manager to domestics very friendly. Go out of their way to make you feel at home as friends." For services we haven't rated we use ticks and crosses to show whether we've asked them to take further action or taken enforcement action against them.

Neath house is a purpose built home located on the northern side of Milton Keynes on the Neath Hill residential estate. There is a local shopping centre nearby which includes a post office, chemist and newsagents.

Overlooking our south-facing, landscaped gardens and patio, our bright and sunny conservatory is a popular spot, whatever the time of year. Here, residents enjoy relaxing with a good book, sipping a cup of tea or a chatting with a friend. Neath House has been purpose-built and specifically designed with care in mind. We blend first-rate facilities and comfort with a friendly atmosphere and are dedicated to giving the kind of care that we’d offer to our own precious family members. As a family-owned and run company, we provide a home from home environment so the residents can live with dignity and respect.
A popular feature on our site is the Entertainers’ Directory, which offers an advertising opportunity to entertainers who enjoy performing to older people in retirement housing, day centre and care home settings. This site offers providers of services, accommodation and related advice a free opportunity to advertise what you do. The site’s 4 million visitors a year comprise roughly 45% older people, 45% younger family and relatives, and 10% professionals who work with older people.

The purpose of this Enter and View programme was to engage with residents, their relatives or carers, to explore their overall experience of living in Neath House care home. As well as building a picture of their general experience, we asked about experiences specifically related to how COVID-19 and the related restrictions impacted on their lives and on their care. Hollins Wood which provides residential care while Hollins Park caters to individuals with nursing or continuing health care needs. Cefn Lodge Care Home is registered to provide both personal and nursing care for older persons up to a maximum of 35 individuals.

We love any sort of games, from crosswords and puzzles to bingo and quiz nights and have light-hearted competitions that our residents throw themselves into.
At beautifully presented tables, our imaginative catering team serve home-cooked favourites from fresh seasonal produce, catering to specific dietary needs and cultural preferences. On birthdays, our chef even bakes a specially decorated cake to mark the big day so we can celebrate in style. Our team is dedicated to meeting individual needs and work with those living with dementia to create peace of mind. Team members run reminiscence sessions as well as ones that stimulate the senses as they find both are highly effective in boosting wellbeing. Purpose-built to be light and spacious, Neath House offers care in an environment that’s relaxed, warm and friendly.
Some care homes are registered to provide personal care only, for example help with washing, dressing and giving medication. Others also provide nursing, and will have a nurse on duty twenty-four hours a day. We are a small homely 35 bed facility with a comfortable atmosphere; that strives to provide quality care and quality of life for residential, nursing and continuing health care residents. This grand old manor house is situated between Swansea and Neath with extensive grounds and elevated views of Swansea Bay and the Neath Valley. We are a dedicated team that aims to positively enrich and enhance residents lives by working closely with families, friends and other external professionals to offer the highest level of personal care.
