We Shuttle You To Your Cruise Ship

port canaveral cruise terminal parking

And since there is such a large market for a place to park, a number of lots have sprung up to offer you a spot while you enjoy your cruise. On-site parking rates are subject to change without notice. This is a great location with lots of friendly, polite and helpful workers. Starting out, it helps to have an overview of the port before you get there. The port is located about 45 minutes due east of Orlando, on Cape Canaveral.

DRIVE. PARK. RIDE. DONE.

Port Canaveral ParkingPort Canaveral Parking is located on Merritt Island, just about 10 minutes from the cruise ships. There are many off-site parking options available throughout the area; however, the closest off-site parking is Park Port Canaveral. They are located within two miles of the Port Canaveral cruise terminals and offer a safe, secure surface parking lot with 24/7 security patrol.

$11.66 per day. SAVE 10% on daily parking with promo code

Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International, Norwegian Cruise Line and Disney Cruise Line are the major lines sailing regularly from the port terminals. Instead of paying by the day, get the best value in Port Canaveral cruise parking with Go Port. All parking spaces are 20 ft in length…if your vehicle is over 20 ft., simply book a second spot under the same name. We've partnered with Patriot Port Parking to provide special discounted parking rates for the families of active US military, veterans, and first responders.

Easy Port Canaveral Hotels With Cruise Shuttles to the Ship

A complete list of the Port Canaveral area hotels offering cruise parking hotel packages is available at GoPort.com. If you your looking for cheap parking at Port Canaveral this might be your best option. You have plenty of options to find a place to park for your cruise, so take some time to do some research into what will be the best solution for you.

Check-in at the welcome booth for luggage drop-off and parking instructions. We are located 1.5 miles or 5 minutes from Port Canaveral cruise terminals. Given the proximity of the lots to the cruise terminal, we wouldn’t blame anyone for paying the higher prices. However, cheaper options are available if you’re looking to save. Port Canaveral Parking has everything you need to keep your vehicle safe during your vacation.

However, by the clock, your car was on the lot for eight different calendar days counting both the day you arrived at the parking lot and the day you depart. Even if you pick your car up first thing on Sunday morning, the parking lots charge for an additional day. Standard parking rates for on-site cruise parking starts at $17.00 per day (including day of arrival and day of departure). Closer, premium parking is also available at an upcharge. Park N Cruise is only 2 miles away from Port Canaveral. Our free shuttle service will take you to and from the parking lot and your cruise terminal.

How much is parking at the Cape Canaveral cruise port?

When parking at Port Canaveral, arriving early to secure parking is recommended, especially during peak cruise seasons. Yes, you can start your cruise from Port Canaveral and enjoy the convenience of onsite parking. You park and walk your bags to the terminal or drop off your luggage and cruise companions at the terminal entrance before you go park. Here’s a short breakdown of the pros and cons of on-site port parking. Terminal A is less exciting, but it hosts more ships as well as the cargo piers.

Carnival Freedom Cruise Parking Information

They also currently only offer service for Carnival Mardi Gras. If you are sailing any other ship, you’ll need to find an alternative lot to park. One thing you should know — the port sits in a large complex on its own, meaning space for third-party parking lots right next to the port is sparse.

While we do speak to our proximity to the cruise port, we offer more than just a convenient spot to stop on your way to your cruise. At Park N Cruise, we offer all-encompassing Port Canaveral cruise parking services from the moment you pull in. We’ll help you unload all of your luggage, and after that is taken care of you will stop by our check-in booth. We prefer to valet all of the vehicles on our lot to provide the greatest customer experience we can. Valeting your vehicle allows you to check in quickly and get you down to the port as fast as possible.

Why am I being charged for 8 days for a 7-day cruise? One thing we’ve noticed is that parking lots in the area charge an extra day for your cruise. Say you have a 7-day cruise that leaves Sunday afternoon and returns the following Sunday morning.

Dozens of regional hotels offer a “Snooze, Park and Cruise” package for Port Canaveral. Packages start at $60.00 per vehicle with 1 traveler, plus $10 for each additional traveler. When it comes to finding places to park, Port Canaveral has other parking deals for your cruise adventure. Our prices will save you up to 30% off on-site Port Canaveral parking.

Instead, start your cruise the right way when you park and save with Park N Cruise! Take a look below at everything we have to offer you. The last thing anyone wants, while they’re trying to board a cruise on time, is overly complicated Port Canaveral cruise parking.

What to know about MSC Seascape, the line's new U S. flagship

seascape cruise

Whether you’re seeking much-needed relaxation or ready to uncover the tastes of the world, there’s something for everyone on board. Relax in your modern accommodations, savor culinary options for all tastes, and look forward to signature experiences that await.

I sailed on MSC’s newest and oldest ships: Here’s what it's like to cruise on new ships vs. older

In early-August 2018, MSC signed an agreement for EUR 1,5 billion (USD 1,74 billion) for both "Seaside EVO" shipbuilding projects. The financing was via a partnership with a syndicate of three lender banks (Unicredit, BNP Paribas, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti). Fully backing the credit line was the Italian export credit agency SACE SIMEST.

Fun at the Water Park

It has some stunning sculptures, including Incanto del mare (Margic of the Seas), a three-level hanging masterpiece that symbolizes MSC's focus on the environment. Before you book a cruise, here's what you need to know, including my tips about the European cruise line's latest addition to the fleet. I recently spent 7 days on this new vessel, sailing in the Caribbean and exploring the ship from top to bottom. The image is representative only; the size, layout and furniture may vary (within the same stateroom category). Yet MSC continues to consistently attract a very diverse audience, and English (and especially American English) was a distant fourth most spoken language, behind Italian, Spanish, French. To be fair, our transatlantic sailing originated in Rome (Civitavecchia) as a 17-day transatlantic crossing, so it stands to reason that most our fellow guests hailed from Europe.

Onboard Activities

These include an imposing three-metre-high replica of the Statue of Liberty at the heart of the casino and a newly designed expansive retail and entertainment area, aptly named Times Square. The main feature of this new area is an impressive 8.5 metre-high LED wall spanning four decks with a projection of the iconic skyline of this entertainment hub in Manhattan that can change from day to night. On par with the specialty restaurants, the Yacht Club Restaurant dials up the dining experience as well. The location alone is peerless, as one would expect of a suites-only restaurant, but the menu and the attention to detail surpasses expectations.

MSC Seascape Activities

You can also eat at the Yacht Club's buffet or enjoy snacks throughout the day at the Yacht Club Top Sail Lounge, so choices are also plentiful here. There is also the Pirate's Cove Waterpark, where a pesty oversized Kraken has been set loose. This is in addition to the mega slides, ROBOTRON, games, kids clubs, and other activities onboard. MSC offers complimentary kids club programs, and guests should also look into their Kids Sail Free promotion. In terms of complimentary options, the main dining room has a good selection of items on its menu, with classics and rotating specials each day. There is a wide variety of food at the buffet, including freshly made pizza and an adorable kids' area.

MSC Seascape Deck Plan Prioritizes Crowd Control

We stayed on one of the Yacht Club Deluxe Suites on Capri Deck 18. At 270 square feet, plus an 86-square-foot balcony, these suites are more than comfortable. They are also the most abundant type accommodation in the MSC Yacht Club, which also features Grand, Royal and Owner's suites, along with interior cabins that represent some of the best value onboard. MSC Seascape is the latest evolution of the line's Seaside-class ships MSC Seaside and MSC Seaview that first debuted in 2017.

Our HONEST MSC Seascape Review – Are the Critics Right About this New Ship?

With its 13 pools and water features, MSC Seascape strives to strike a balance between kid-friendly and adult-enticing settings. The centerpieces are the Marina Pool and the Jungle Room Pool, located on opposite sides of Deck 18. Both are somewhat small, and during our sailing, the Jungle Room Pool's indoor setting (it features a retractable roof) attracted the most attention from passengers. But on MSC Seascape's Caribbean sailings, it's entirely reasonable to see the outdoor Marina Pool take center stage. The adults-only Infinity Pool on Deck 8 is a little slice of paradise; a very 'Instagrammable' spot on the aft of the ship that also features a bar and a gelato station. Identical to its sister ship MSC Seashore in nearly every way, MSC Seascape features a glitzy, New York City-inspired aesthetic.

Daily Things to Do on MSC Seascape

seascape cruise

And, as Cruise Critic has discovered, there is a lot to like about this European-minded megaship. This lively venue has several televisions and fun furniture with sports equipment accents and leather booths. Similarly, the Loft Café features oversized chairs and tables, with yellow and wood tones reminiscent of a writer’s room or a quiet hotel lounge. Perhaps the most unique bar on the ship is the Venchi 1878 Chocolate Bar.

Review: MSC Yacht Club (Cruise - Business Class) - Live and Let's Fly

Review: MSC Yacht Club (Cruise - Business Class).

Posted: Sun, 14 Apr 2024 14:39:38 GMT [source]

This charming venue offers deliciously authentic Asian cuisine prepared on the spot with only the freshest, highest quality ingredients. Tradition and modernity go hand in hand in this stylish teppanyaki restaurant and sushi restaurant. With 2,270 cabins and 11 categories, variety is not an issue on MSC Seascape. Featuring muted yet elegant tones and decor, the cabins throughout the ship are comfortable and efficient.

The Robotron lies right next to the sports arena, located on deck 20. MSC Seascape features new cabins designed to suit all your needs during your holiday. Choose among different types of cabins and suites with balconies including the coveted aft suits, terraced suites with extended balconies and different suites with outdoor private whirlpools. And get to know an unparalleled accommodation experience at the 2 new palatial Owner’s Suites at the largest and most luxurious MSC Yacht Club. Essentially, this entitled us to any beverage $15 or less at any of the bars, lounges, main dining room, and specialty restaurants. Needless to say, we had no issues completing our drink around the ship on MSC Seascape.

MSC Seascape has 19 decks (the highest one is Deck 20, but Italian superstition nixes number 17). A neat little feature is that every deck on MSC Seascape is named after a famous island, from the Phi Phi Islands of Thailand (Deck 4) to the United Arab Emirates' Sir Bani Yas island (Deck 19). Despite its large size, Aurea Spa disappointingly lacks a proper waiting lounge (you have to sit across from the entrance of the gym which ruins the mood a bit), and the changing rooms are on the small side. According to MSC, their purification standards that are higher than most wastewater treatment facilities ashore. In addition to this, they use a Hybrid Exhaust Gas Cleaning System,  LED lighting, energy saving appliances, a Ballast Treatment System, as well as a state of the art recycling and solid waste management onboard. Another important point, you cannot switch devices with the wi-fi package.

An immersive experience truly connecting you to the sea awaits you onboard MSC Seascape. Coveted pools, panoramic lifts and the breath-taking glass skywalk Bridge of Sighs, make MSC Seascape iconic and unique for sensational points of view on the ocean. Beyond that, the new immersive high-tech entertainment with innovative technology provides guests with endless options. Those staying in one of the 131 suites in the Yacht Club area can enjoy spacious dedicated venues, including a lounge, private dining room, and huge rooftop area with a hot tub, pool, bar, and food service. For those looking to try the ship within a ship concept, they even have interior suites, and at a lower price point, but with lots of amenities, including a free premium drink package, internet, and access to the Thermal Spa. Seascape also features two 20-person infinity hot tubs on either side of the deck 8 promenade.

As its name would suggest, Seascape maximizes proximity to the water, with close to 140,000 square feet of outdoor space, Rodríguez said. Seascape also has a promenade measuring more than 1,700 feet long, where guests can get closer to the sea. We had a similar experience at Chora Theatre, the 1,200-seat located on Decks 6 and 7 at the front of the ship.

Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Updates: Disney Cruise Lines Newest Tropical Destination

lighthouse point disney cruise line

While the fleet may be small with just five ships, it is mighty with its offerings, amenities, and features. With three new ships set to make their debut soon, Disney is sure to make a large splash this year and next. While Disney Cruise Line does have some impressive amenities and spaces just for children, adult guests are not forgotten onboard. I was surprised to find a large amount of bars, lounges, entertainment areas, and pools just for guests 18 years and older. Because dinner time is not just a meal onboard, as there is some show element involved, the rotational dining system is necessary to make sure that every guest has the chance to experience the dining magic. After spending 7 nights onboard, I fell in love with everything the line has to offer.

Disney Cruise Line Inspires Future Generations of Seafarers at LJM Maritime Academy’s Summer Camp Program

Disney Cruise Line ships are ready to sail to Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point in The Bahamas! Based on surveys using the globally recognized Atlantic and Gulf Rapid Reef Assessment, coral reefs do not appear within the footprint of the open-trestle pier or marina. Including 75-foot buffers on both sides of the pier, just over 1/10 of an acre (0.145 acres) of individual corals could be potentially impacted and will be mitigated. Nearby patch reefs – considered to be in “Fair” condition based on AGRRA surveys – are outside of the project area by more than 500 feet and will not be directly impacted. Disney Cruise Line has developed a coral relocation plan to move protected corals and adult reef-building coral colonies nearby. This expands on Disney’s existing coral relocation work already in place in Abaco, which has had 90% success rate over the past ten years.

Beryl resides in North Carolina with her husband Bob and their three golden retrievers. The following is a look at some of the development of Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point as of the first week of December 2023. Tara Lenharth was on vacation in Eleuthera and snapped a few pictures of the progress from the publicly accessible areas on land and from boat. Tara kindly shared the following photos with Len Testa of TouringPlans.com who graciously passed them along. Contractors have reached a significant milestone at Disney Cruise Lines’s private port development, 50% of the trestle pier has been completed. Additionally, the self sustainable utility grid, and the various buildings are on track to finish as scheduled according to Joey Gaskins, Disney Cruise LIne’s Regional Public Affairs Director for The Bahamas and Caribbean.

Disney Cruise Line Shares New Details About Second Island Destination in Eleuthera

Your dedicated Vacationeer will customize every aspect of your Disney Lookout Cay cruise to meet your unique needs. Their goal is to provide you with the best cruise package at the most competitive rates while ensuring a pleasant and stress-free booking experience. The design of Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point incorporates energy-efficient technologies and materials, such as solar panels and native, drought-tolerant plants for landscaping. Waste management systems and recycling initiatives will also be implemented, further reducing the island’s environmental footprint. While the grand opening is still some time away, Disney has already shared essential details about the destination, including early dates and itineraries. Lookout Cay can be easily reached from various Florida ports, including the Port of Miami (263 miles away), Fort Lauderdale (267 miles away), and Port Canaveral (380 miles away).

Eleuthera Business Hub Now Open to Support Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs in Eleuthera

All guests can dine at True-Too BBQ, a lunch restaurant offering incredible ocean views with architecture inspired from local Eleuthera artists. Located near the family beach and water play areas, this is intended to be a family-friendly spot. Disney’s development of the Lighthouse Point area will take inspiration from the natural surroundings and pay homage to the culture and essence of The Bahamas.

If you need a quote, have questions, or feel overwhelmed by the options, consider The Vacationeer. They are among the highest-rated Disney travel agencies, offering years of experience and exceptional customer service. An Oxford Economic study projects that over 25 years, Disney’s Lighthouse Point development will add over $800 million to the Bahamian GDP and over $355 million to government revenues. The agreement emphasizes investing $250-$400 million in Eleuthera, generating at least 120 construction jobs and 150 operations jobs.

Guests can request a private table for just their travel party, but these requests can not always be accommodated. Additionally, if guests particularly enjoy a specific dining room, they are not able to dine at these venues whenever they desire. Guests can only dine in dining rooms that they have been assigned to for that evening. Guests will need to be aware of exactly when and where their dinner is each night, as they're expected to arrive on time. Arriving late means that the other guests who are seated at the same table will not be able to be served, as cast members work off of a strict schedule to maintain an orderly dinner time onboard for everyone. Beryl and her husband are now empty nesters who have become annual passholders, allowing them to return to Disney frequently to bask in the magic.

The new island destination is inspired by Junkanoo, a longstanding Bahamian tradition celebrating the unique culture of this beautiful country. The colorful cabanas will be one of the first sights passengers aboard the ship will see as they approach the island. They will set the tone for the vibrant and beautiful architecture throughout the island destination. Master artists Kevin Cooper from Eleuthera and Antonius Roberts from Nassau are spearheading Disney’s efforts to engage with the local creative community. Guests can expect to see many beautiful Bahamian-inspired designs and cultural elements integrated throughout the Lookout Cay development.

What is Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point?

Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is a new island destination owned and operated by Disney Cruise Line, located at the southernmost tip of Eleuthera in The Bahamas. This tropical port-of-call will showcase Bahamian culture and nature with designs inspired by the island’s organic shapes and vibrant colors. At Lighthouse Point, families will enjoy a day of fun in the sun as they relax on pristine beaches, embark on active adventures and discover authentic Bahamian storytelling alongside favorite Disney characters.

The grand opening of the new destination is in June 2024, but we can learn more now about the island and the work being done to bring it to life. Disney Cruise Line has invited us to follow along as they release details about Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, the new tropical retreat on the island of Eleuthera, The Bahamas. During the session, it was revealed that Disney Cruise Line built a tree nursery in order to relocate and replant indigenous trees instead of removing them altogether in an effort to preserve the environment. Just under 7,000 protected species have been harvested form the development area and moved to the nursery. Our team is doing research, preparing layouts and capturing stunning photos of the entire fleet as we work towards launching our next magazine, dedicated to celebrating Disney Cruise Line. DCL is employing sustainable building practices and there is not expected to be a loss of marine or terrestrial biodiversity at the species level as a result of the project.

At that time, Lighthouse Point was a controversial project that was still awaiting an Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Management Plan, along with approval by the Government of The Bahamas and public consultation. There was a lot of backlash pre-pandemic, but the plan was to open Lighthouse Point by last year or this year. Obviously, construction delays were an inevitability with the border closures and cruise industry essentially pausing for over a year.

During the workshop, students met with the team, exchanged creative design ideas as they finalized their Junkanoo costumes and learned about careers in the creative and entertainment industries. Another early sight of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is one of our tram stops. This space will soon be filled with the bright colors that will light up the destination, inspired by the warmth of Bahamian art and culture.
